Good luck to Chloe
I've got my fingers crossed for both of you. I'm sure she will be fine.

Grandma message.

..#2 is out....she didn't chew the cord on the first one. should i just let her be to see if she will do it by herself? #2 seems to be mostly gray with a little white

I said she is having them quickly so she might wait especially if the contractions start again...

#3 was born while I was taking my daughter to the bus stop. She still hasn't chewed any of the cords. What do I do? Is it normal for her to have a few kittens in one area then get up and move and leave the oher kittens there? #3 is mostly with a little less white then #2.

I ended up cutting all the cords, she is so tired she can't hardly keep her eyes open. Cloe is sleeping and all the babies are nursing. There are 5 so far. They are all mostly gray with some white on their face, chest, and feet. But the first one born was mostly white with gray spots. I really hope she is done.

For now, as long as the babies are nursing well, then let her sleep. In a little while, offer Cloe a little water or KMR if you have it. Also see if she would like to have a little bit to eat. Mush up some canned food real well and add a little warm water or KMR to it and offer that.

Poor Cloe. Get some rest and recover soon!

Good for you for cutting the cords yourself. I was freaking out for you when I read your post! I would've been so scared to have to help. I hoped Veruca was done after 5 as well. But 2 more came after that!

Cloe seems ok just really tired. She looks up when I open the bedroom door, then she goes right back to sleep. All the babies seem to be nursing ok. They are all pretty much the same same. But, number 4 is just a tad small not much though. I don't have a scale to weigh them on, but my husband gets paid tomorrow so I will get one then. I snuck in and took a picture while she was sleeping. I haven't cleaned up the area yet, so don't mind the mess. She wouldn't stay in one spot so I had to put a blanket down. She wanted in her box but didn't want the box in the closet so that is were she ended up.

So sweet.

I know you've better things to do right now than teach me how to post a picture, but when you get a chance...How did you get that picture in a small size?

I am not sure actually. When I save a picture with my kodak software it gives me the option to save best for the internet. Then I upload the picture to photobucket.com and that is just how it comes out.

Can someone please tell me the best time to change the wet bedding? Should I wait a while to let momma sleep or do it then let her sleep?
