These pics aren't so great. My camera is crap. Also, 7 black newborn kittens tend blend together.
Everyone is doing well. Veruca is only around a year old but I swear she seems like a pro at this. I wonder if she's had a litter before. Anyway, all the kitties are nursing. There is definately 1 little guy in the group. I escorted him to a nipple and he nursed for a long time. I was pleased that she let me handle a kitten. I think she is going to make a great pet!
I've loved this whole experience so far. I've never done this before and probably never will again and I am enjoying this so much. Thanks to Veruca for being such a great cat and making it so pleasant to do a good deed. (I could've done with a few less kittens in the litter - but since that's what she had, I will love and enjoy them.)
Until the kittens are ready for new homes, I have 1 dozen cats living in my house!
