Ok Angel LOVES my room, where we set up as her "birthing" room. My door is always closed (because of our waterbed but think hubby used that as an excuse to not have kitties sleeping on him) so it is the "forbidden" room. LOL

Well I have been letting her in my room a few times a day when I give her her canned food then she stays in there a bit. There are times when I have to carry her out as she has no interest in leaving. LOL

But I am worried she will get tired of the room since she still has 3 weeks left before she is due (if she is........ she is looking round again tonight. LOL) then will be in there for a while with the babies after they are born....... should I just let her stay in there now as long as she wants and if she wants to come out then let her out? or will she get tired of the room and not want to stay in there when the time comes? LOL

I think you should let her stay in the room for as long as she wants. Believe me...the room isn't what is going to be 'tiring' to her...it's going to be all the wee ones that she will be taking care of..so as long as she will be able to stretch her feet and spend some time in the room away from her kittens, it should be fine.

Katie--- yeah the room isn't huge but if she wants a break from wee ones (once they are there) she can get up on our bed or climb over the barrier I am putting up. until wee ones can do both. LOL but then I can give her some free time in the house if need be.

Ok I will let her be for as long as she wants to stay in there. most times I open the door and in she goes when she wants. others I bring her in to feed her but then she doesn't want to leave. LOL

Heeheee. it is funny because she LOVES the room but I am afraid she likes it because it is "new" and "forbidden" but once the "newness" wore off she wouldn't want to be in there anymore. LOL heheee. She does get lonely in there if she is in there too long by herself.
so cries when I go to check on her. But can't spend too much time during the day in there or my kids have to be in and then it defeats the purpose of a quiet room for her. LOL so try to keep them out during the day. every now and then my 3 yr old will come in at night or first thing in the morning and snuggle.
