Layla and the "Unknowns"

This has proboaly been posted before but I wanna post it up again.
I've heard that cats tend to stare out at nothing, well Layla does that too and it's sooo creepy! For a couple of days now she'll stop at one spot and look up at nothing and stare fixed on the ceiling. I keep looking up and nothing unusal is there! It's so creepy cuz I don't know what she's staring at!
Does your cat do it too?

LOL Oh yes, our Bandit does this often. I think she sees dust flying or something like that... but sometimes she will stare for fifteen minutes straight, right at the ceiling fan. We say she's found the kitty god and is having a spiritual experience.

Hi, my cat does this as well and I have really started noticing it more now that summer is here. I live in Houston also, which has abundant bug life, and figured she is seeing some tiny bug that has come in from outside. In fact, when I come back inside from my balcony, she is always checking to see if I brought her a treasure.

She proboaly is seeing some tiny bug.
I know she like to hunt them, so maybe is some tiny insect.
