Not to be a mean mom or anything-but hes just doing anything and everything to annoy me and his 'lil sister!! Arrghh....I hate these boring, hot long summers!! He plays baseball, and loves his PS2 but this just isnt keeping him busy enough-lol. He is just being a pain in my rear!
Sometimes I think its because we are more like sister and brother(sounds silly, I know)but its true! He is 12 and I am 28 and well....hes mature for his age and it just seems like we always are butting heads!! Anyone else having problems like this with their kids??

eh...A little I suppose.

My daughter is 2 and 1/2. So she's begun the not listening to me phase. And defying every law I make. She listens to her father at ALL TIMES. No matter what it is. I dont know why. But he is DEFINATLY the disipline in this family.

I am the nuturing/caring/cleaning/helping/hugging/kiss me boo-boo one.

So we deal.

At least you have a son.
We don't have the fiances to afford any children any time soon.

I would love to have a son in the near future.

Have you tried teaching him to cook? Both our sons could cook really well by the time they left home. One of our Grandsons spends every summer holiday with us (all six weeks) he is 13 and still likes cooking, he got to the stage last summer when he could plan a meal, shop for the ingedients and cook for dinner for all of us.
