Can I see your ID?

i actually had a guy at a jiffy store argue with me telling me i was'nt 21 when my id said i was!! Finally he gave in!

lol my son is only 14 and he got in ok

I get ID'd all the time!

The funniest time was when I drove into the petrol station - alone - filled the car up and went to pay. The lady at the till asked for my ID and explained that I had to be 16 to fill up a car!!!! (Unless under Motability, you have to be 17 to even hold a provisional!!)

It really made me laugh as it would be pretty daft of me to joy ride to the petrol station, fill up, and then carry on on my joy ride!

(I was 19 at the time! )

When I'm alone, I get carded all the time. I'm 26, but look considerably younger. Most recently, the woman at the bank did an emphatic doubletake at my drivers license. She looked up at me and said, "I'm so sorry, you just look so YOUNG!" I had to laugh.

I get carded for lottery tickets but when I go to the liquor store they don't card me!! And I went to buy my mom a pack f cigs when she smoked my BOSS carded me!! granted he was giving me a hard time be he should have carded me.

there was a girl who looked like she was 14 who always tried to buy cigs and alcohol from me and would get SO mad at me when I wouldn't sell it to her without ID. About 6 or 7 months late she brought me an ID and she is 27!!!

I get carded all the time now too... but only in Montana. If I want to order a drink from a resturant here... I have to show ID. And a lot of times I forget my ID..... :rollyeyes: But when fh and I got to Red Lobster in Cour d'Alene... I never have a problem!

Weird... and I waited till I was 21 to drink.... so now I get carded all the time. (I'm 22, btw)

When I went back to Ohio to get married (at 30 years old) the girl at WalMart wouldn't sell me cigarettes with no ID.

Granted, I look young.

But I think I topped it off (meaning my own idiocy! ) by getting pissed off and yelling, "MOM, they won't sell me cigarettes, can you buy some!"

Still the girl sold my mom the cigarettes!

When I turned 21 my boyfriend took me to Garduno's for dinner and a margarita (only 1 though cause I had an exam the next day...boo). The waitress didn't even ask for my ID!!! I was like "umm don't you wanna see my ID?" So I showed it to her and she said, "Oh my gosh, Happy Birthday!" ......go figure.

Not and ID story but once my mom and I were at a restraunt and the waiter asked us if we were sisters!!! My mom was elated, and the waiter was very embarrassed when she told him she was 52 and my mother!!!! I'm still in disbelief over that one...lol.

I'm 26 years old. I still on occassion get carded for alcohol, a few times for cigarettes, when I was 20 years old and in the military I went to see Scary Movie in the theatre.....The guy asked for my ID, I handed him my active duty military ID card, and that just tickled me pink cause I also got my military discount....(cause this theatre offered a discount to military members and dependants)
