I know there is another thread on here about allergies, but that seems to be more about itchy kitties, and I have a sniffly kitty. Nathan seems to periodically get a little stuffed up in the nose and sneezy. It's nothing major, no coughing or runny eyes, and his eating and energy level are fine. It usually clears up on its own in a day or two, so I've never really been too concerned about it. But I'm starting to wonder whether it's possible that he has nasal allergies. Do you guys know whether cats can have those sorts of allergies?

ziggy is the same, he has sniffles, and sometimes when he is sleeping his nose makes a whistling nose. the vet told me it looked very mild and if it didn't get better by the next appt. he would test for allergies. so I don't know for sure yet but is probably what it is. he also always always has a little bit of a runny nose.

I am wondering if my cat has the same. She had horrible a URI when I found her so much so the eyes were matted shut. When she purrs it sounds like she is slightly congested but never shows any other real symptoms. Occasionally I find black gunk on her nose which she lets me remove but other than that she seems fine. I have never really bothered taking her to the vet for it since it doesn't seem to bother her.
