Veruca is having kittens right now!

I posted earlier that I wondered if she was in labor. She bit my husband earlier because she didn't want to be alone. I decided to sleep in her "queen suite" with her since she was so lonely. I turned off the lights and laid on the floor. She plopped next to me and next thing I know we were both wet. She got up and went into the "cubby" I made her. I heard one cry from her and then I just heard furocious licking. I turned up the lights and found a kitten in with her. It's moving a bit. ANd I heard it softly meow too. She is resting now. It's 2:00am, gonna be a long night! I just have to watch if she'll keep letting me. I can't believe it's happening already! Here comes another!

Up to 3 now! They look like little rats! This is amazing! I hope she is doing everything right because I don't have a clue how this is supposed to go. I'm trusting in nature and I hope they are all okay. I hear them squeaking.

No worries! I'm sure she knows...My momma cat did just fine, and I had NO clue either!!!

Today is another baby day...My Oreo had hers early this morning - I think she is done now, but who knows? We have five total...I will post another thread in a bit...

Rats do not have hair... I hope they have fur... at least a little...

My 8-year-old said our new babies look like rats, too...They have hair, but when he first saw them they were all still wet...It was cute!

LOL - They have a fur. When they first came out and were all wet and I saw the little black tails, I thought of rats. And they are so tiny!

So she only had 3 kittens? Congratulations Veruca!!

She had 7! She took a 30 minute break between #4 and #5. Then #6 & #7 came shortly after.
