I think our Ruby may be just a tad bigger than Sneaker's, but because she is a rescued stray have no idea of a due date. Do you know when she's due?

She's due in two to three weeks. She weighed 4.5 lbs pre-pregnancy, now she weighs 6.5.

She's very tiny boned... tiny paws and tiny hips! Vet said she'd be okay, though... cross your fingers for me!

Now we need pics of all the other pregnant kitties in the house!

Here's the little rascal that got her pregnant. We had him fixed DAYS too late.
She got pregnant apparently the week before we got him fixed. D'oh.

His name is Ziggy... he's a long lanky cat (you can't tell from the pic, though... he's all folded up). He's very vocal and very active, your typical boy that makes trouble, while Sneakers is just a shy little princess who likes to give us purrs every night before we fall asleep.

Sneakers is a unfolded Scottish Fold. She's 2.5 years old.

Ziggy is a moggie. My husband brought him home from a "free kitten" box he saw on the side of the road. It was manned by a teenager. He was only five weeks old, so we had to supplement him on KMR for a couple of weeks because he was such a whiny crybaby.
A few weeks later, the mom of the girl that gave my husband the kitten told us that they found out who the daddy was (the mom was a white barn cat). They kept him around because he was "unusual looking." They got him microchipped, and found out he was a stud for a Savannah program. Savannahs are part domestic and part African Serval. I don't know how much wild cat Ziggy or his dad have in them, but some things about him certainly are wild! He is fascinated with water, has a long neck, big ears, long legs, and sort of big paws. I guess all the domestic crossing took out the Serval coat in his line, but I don't care. He's my baby. He's only 9 or 10 months now.

wow she is sooooooooo big! Angel was tiny to start about 7-7.5lbs I think and is around 9lbs now but you would never know by looking at her. She is longer but just tiny all around. so now she just looks like a "normal" size cat and not preg. most times. LOL But about 1 1/2 weeks ago the vets scale said 8lbs and mine said around 8.5 (I weighed myself then held and weighed her) so she may only really be 8.5 or so now..... Not sure. LOL

That first picture is absolutely hysterical!!!! It looks like your husband is making some kind of a peace offering by giving a cantelope-shaped feline to a wierd indigenous island tribe or something!!!!

She's cute! She should have very interesting looking kittens, indeed. Ziggy's very handsome too, of course!

I just saw that post.. I showed it to my husband. He was not impressed.
Don't worry, I thought it was funny! And I can actually see what you mean.

I am looking forward to it and have read in another post about keeping her indoors so this will be done. we have set up our spare room building the cot back up as she loved that when it was up before and she is in there now happy as anything and kids cant get to her so is even better. Need to get better cat fod for her though. Any recommendations??

How far along is she? I'm no expert at this, but make sure you have set up a box or doggie crate with lots of old blankets for her to nest in. There's links in the pregnany forum with more info, and I have found this: site: helpful, too. Sneakers accepted her little room right away too...
I feed her human baby food (Gerber chicken) and Nutrochoice kitten. She loves it.
