Weird question.

But I actually like letters better. More excitement.

I find letters to be more personal, I love getting them

I barely get real mail anymore, so I really like getting letters/cards. I'll randomly send loved ones card just to brighten their day.

Letters. My sister collects stamps.

For some reason I just LOVE JUNK MAIL!!! OOOhhhh!!!! The peek at the outside work that exists outside grad school!!! The coupons!!!! The samples!!! Ahoy!!!

I prefer letters, but sometimes, I hate waiting. So email is what gets used the most.

I totally agree!

I haven't gotten an actual letter in YEARS, so I think I would have to say letters. Because no one ever sends them anymore, there is something really special about them. They take more effort than emails, so you know the person really cares (unless it's hate mail, in which case they REALLY hate you! )

Mail in either form is good!!!

I love it when you think someone has forgotten about you, but out of nowhere they write you email/mail/pm.
It really brightens your day

I think emails... cause I never get letters ever...

I like both. But I think I like real letters best. There is something about getting something in the mail besides bills and junk!

Same here, with people at home we email a lot because we move around a lot still and so we lose each others contact info and letters get sent back (and international mail is a rip off) so its mostly email.

I have a few friends I write to, but even then we email or chat on IM more and so we have little to write about, but its fun getting something in the mail

Actually, seeing as my social life is rather small and virtually inoperative atm, I do really like to get a letter from time to time. There's something really personal about getting a letter to surprise you

I like getting letters for all of the reasons listed above. I really don't get mail except for junk mail and bills... but I really like email too, cause it lets me know that someone is thinking about me!
