So, I have Petunia and Pepper and we seem to be having some trouble with litter box usage. I clean the box every day (not completely-- I have the sifting litter box liners and sift every day), but we have mountains of poo in the box seemingly constantly.
I had 2 litterboxes when I first brought Pepper home, but it was too small for Petunia and she would kinda hang her butt off of the side of the box and go. It didn't seem intentional- she was just too big. The thing is, I was going to get another box, but even if I do they are going to use the same box constantly because that is what they did before. Is there anything that I can do to encourage them to use both boxes? Are our cats just weird?
