Help!! What should I do!!!???

I just went to go check on my cat and I tried to pick her up and she gave this really high mew....it sounded like someone was squeezing her!! she's 15 and she was acting fine yesterday!!! i can't take her to the vet becuz my mom isn't home and I'm only 13!! she won't let me pick her up at all and she's just lying there half asleep.....blood isn't coming out of her mouth or anything tho!!! what should I do until my mom gets home?!?!? does anyboby have any ideas of whats wrong w/ her?!?!?

First off, don't try to pick her up any more. Just let her lie there. Have you spoken to your mom and told her what is going on?

good Just try to be calm and don't move her around. If she is in a room where it's possible to pull the blinds or curtains closed to darken the room, that might be a good idea. But don't relocate her if she isn't. Hopefully your mom can get home soon to check on the kitty and take her to the vet

ok! i'm home from the vet!! it's nothing serious. the vet says that it was probably just a cold-like thing, so they gave her some medicine, and the reason she wasn't moving was most likly becuz of her arthritus, so they said to get a heating pad and let her lay on that
