How high can a cat jump? especially PB persian

If it's from the ground up, I'm guessing 6 feet. However if they have platforms to jump up to, they can get really high.

Never measured it but I'd be willing to bet my long legged "kangaroo" cornish rex can jump a lot higher (without ramps) then a persian can


Lets put it this way; had a 4 month old rex kitten jump at least 5 feet from a table top to the top of the curio cabinet with not much trouble.

base on that a cat should be able to jump over 7ft....
my LuckyGirl was born with no tail! She had a birth defect...
Her tail is SO CUTE though, it looks like a bunny tail! She sure can jump though, she's cleared 5 feet before, and jumping down is never a problem either.
