Prayer for Soldiers in Iraq

I found out late last week that one of my schoolmates was injured by a roadside bomb while serving in Iraq. The doctors think he will survive but he has some pretty severe injuries to his legs and chest. He's facing possible premanent disfigurement and many months of phyiscal therapy, not to mention many emotional issues that come along with the war. It's really scary! The issues in Iraq have been going on for so long that I've sort of become immune to them until now. Please keep the soilders serving overseas in your prayers.

They are always in our thoughts & -a friend's stepson was killed last year & another from our community 6 months before-We have a flag with red,white, blue ribbons on the porch that went up the day we first went into Iraq & won't come off until everyone is home -looks pretty ratty but it's a constant reminder of the troops.

They are always in my thought.

I pray that they are safe. I pray that they feel safe. I pray that the good Lord would change the hearts of the people in Iraq and both soldiers and civilians over there would be just and merciful.
