I just have to tell everybody!! It's like Christmas in this house today!

So, this KB toys is going out of business at this mall, and EVERYTHING is 50% to 75% off. I spent 45 dollars, on what should have been $135.00.

MAN! All of my daughters birthday and christmas shopping is DONE!

I had such a great time. But there was like people with 5 cart fulls of stuff. It was halarious. This one lady spent $500.00 on toys, and can you IMAGINE what that would have been without the 75% off stuff?? Sheesh.
It's just amazing that they are allowed to sell toys for that cheap!

DH wasnt happy that I was going to spend money on toys. So, I bought him some nerf guns, and some remote control cars, and now I'm Forgiven.
But for like 2 bucks each, HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG?!
It's a great day. lol.

That is awesome! I'm sure your daughter will have fun opening her presents. When I first saw the title of this thread I thought it would be about thos plush Bible character toys that I read about in Readers Digest (or maybe the paper?).

Make sure you check the store the hour before it finally closes. Most stores can offer as much as 90% off on the last hour to get rid of as much inventory as possible.

Shucks, I really wanted to go!

Batteries ARE spendy - go to the dollar store, or a dollar tree type store -only a dollar for a BUNCH!

Those are lithium batteries that generally cost 2x regular batteries upfront, but can be recharged by a recharger about 30 times. The recharger itself is the size of an air refresher and you just plug it into the wall with batteries in it. There are many brands available. With coupons from Sunday papers you can usually get one under $10.

They are an environmental choice because batteries are hazardous waste and can leak heavy metals into the water supply if disposed improperly.
They also save a lot of money because it doesn't take a lot of electricity to recharge them. The biggest disadvantage is that they are like socks and you can loose single batteries easily, so to have a well-stocked repertoire you need at least 4 dozen batteries for the upstart.

Here is a good choice:

YES!

I get mine at Target, for my digital camera - they come in a pack with a charger -for either an outlet in your house, or for the car!

I would check it out - they are SO worth it, although I seem to have lost my charger, so I have to buy a new one, but they aren't spendy at all.

Look into it!
