Talk about an Argh..

I too mail out paycheques to people who take Thursday off but usually check if someone will be coming by to get it first (but I only have 10 employees to worry about), but I certainly wouldn't go in until you get a cheque and answer about schedules.

Thats what i thought ie laying me off. why I dont know. But..its possible. I have been looking for another job though. So if it comes to that while it stinks I do at least have my feet in the water. oh and BTW guys this WOULDNT be my last paycheck. as i worked last week and last week was the first week in the new pay period. Just an FYI.

Steve did finally get ahold of someone from work. she still stands by the fact that she mailed the check. We aint buying it one iota. And I also still do not have a schedule. I usually work on Tuesdays. But i am no going in A)they havent paid me. B) they havent given me a schedule.

They can not call it a no call no show as they have not given me a schedule. And good luck calling my house LMAO..

But its true. and they havent paid me. GRRR

Btw beckiboo I would report your DH's employeer. I dont know about your state but here if they fire, or lay you off and you demand your final wages they have to pay within 24 hours or get a nice big fine.

Thats really weird. My work likes to screw around with paycheques too. I work at 2 different Subways and they like to put them at different stores every week so I never know where to go to pick mine up and the one is like 20 minutes away and gas prices are crazy, especially driving a truck.

yeah i drive an SUV and gas is just insane. the kennel is 30mins from here. Gas jumped another 20cents today just cant afford to drive out there if i am not working. I am gonna wait til the mail runs tommrow, if its not hear i will take another walk and make a phone call to them AGAIN.

Than to my state labor department.

I am keeping you in my thoughts, I hope to hear it's resolved (and check arrived) and at the least, good chance at a better new job and check arrived

Thanks Pat. the darn check BETTER arrive i am so ticked. Steve keeps telling me to dip into the vet fund. But i refuse. my girls just came home and are epxecting. so we dont Touch the vet fund. I would rather starve. lol.

And he knows it. The babies always come first hehe I just wish these guys woudlnt be such a pain in the...you know what.

I have nothing to add, I think all bases have been covered. I just wanted to say good luck, what a crummy situation.

Thanks it is pretty crummy...ah well.. t minus 1 hour til my mail man comes..

that totally sucks for you... I hate money problems...that's where all my sleep goes at night...thinking about money. Either way, it sounds like they are trying to railroad you for some odd reason... with avoidance and not scheduling you, and sending your pay in the mail so you don't show up... very fishy... good luck to ya!

yes it sucks. its offically mail man time. he comes between 2-2:30 so i am waiting waiting waiting. lol enjoying my day off tho LMAO I am usually scheduled today. However. Nope. Nothing on either front. and i am really ticked.

I think I'd find someone to drive you down there and figure out what the heck is going on. I'd be livid if I didn't get a paycheck!

well if i dont have it by this friday which is of course WAY to much leyway but its the only time he can come..My uncle who is a cop..and said even tho its his day off he will be in uniform..for the heck of it will drive me in.

Wow, I can't believe you haven't heard anything yet!! That is totally horrible. You'd think if they really dropped your check in the mail, you would have had it by now!

I hope you get it resolved soon, I'd be one ticked off woman!

Holy cow-I am just catchin up on this....your check is still "gone"?? Man I would be soo overly ticked! I really wonder whats going on. And your uncle sounds like a great idea-

All i know its its somthing fishy. It doesnt take almost a week (of course i still dont have it) to go from there to here. Period. even durning christmas.

Yeah it was actually my uncles idea. He heard me talking to my grandma ab out this and he will be in town for my sisters graduation. So he thought it might be an idea. considering he doesnt have to say anything the badge is usually enough to get some answers heh
