she still licks their butts!!

IS it normal for mom to STILL lick their butts?? They are 7 and a half weeks old! They are also still nursing and shes not fighting them off to wean anymore, she was but she escaped outside for a few hours, came back inside ( shes still in heat thank heavens, shes still yowlling) but now shes nursing them again, and they have pretty much stopped eating solid foods, but are drinking water, but only when mom does)

is this stuff normal??

I'd be concerned about her being pregnant even though she is still in heat given that she has been back outside.

I think this is a mother instinct so I would not worry about that... As for being PG Skittles was in heat and was pregant... I thought the same darn thing
If she was stilll in heat she would not be prego WRONG She was 2 months later I hear them all

Yikes! Man animals are some amazing creature rofl, I am so glad we have wipes!!!

Yea I just called the animal hospital so get the pricing on getting mine fixxed. Yikes! Didn't realize it was so dang expensive
. Will probably have to get them done one at a time at each paycheck. Will do the male first since he is not feeding anyone lol.

I don't think it's good that they've stopped eating food, at 7 weeks they need more than momma's milk.

I have a ten week old kitten that will nurse anytime a momma will let him and I have two mommas that let him. It is funny to see his big body in with all the little ones.
