I went fishing this weekend out on the Pacific. I caught more fish than we can eat. Can I bake it and feed it to my cats? I don't want to waste it.

It is halibut and I got some pink fish that a friend caught (I'm not sure what it is but it tastes good). I will call in the morning.

Fish is ok as an occasional special treat. For instance, for Serenity's Birthday, she and Sierra enjoyed fresh Mahi-Mahi from the local seafood market.
It's terrific that you caught it all yourself! Be sure to remove all bones from the fish. To prepare it, I put the fish in a little foil tray, drizzle with a touch of extra virgin olive oil and broil until it flakes easily with a fork.

Sure hope Nina, Cassidy, and Clyde enjoy their yummy meal!
What time is dinner? Sierra and Serenity will be on their way!

I wouldn't feed them too much. With all the pollution in our oceans and rivers, some types of fish can have high levels of mercury. A little bit as a treat shouldn't be a problem, but I wouldn't make it a regular meal. You may want to look into freezing some of the fish so it doesn't go to waste.

A bit of cooked fish is okay as long as they are also eating high quality cat food. I would suggest freezing the fish so it doesn't spoil.
