Just finished the first day of a 2 day cat show and our kittens got 11 finals with a couple of Best Kittens! We're showing 3 four month olds and are very excited how well they are doing. First show for these guys too.

I'm a happy camper tonight.

Thanks everyone for the comments!

Today was a half day show, 4 rings. The "team" picked up another four finals, including another best kitten. Total is 15 finals for 3 kittens at a 12 ring show. More than half of the finals my kittens got were All Breed, which really was the icing on the cake.
This was the first show ever for this whole crew and they all acted like they were at home in our living room. I was pretty amazed.

Below are some pictures of them I took in April. They look much different and bigger now, being 45 days older.

Thanks for letting me share......we're so happy about this.

This is Arctic Cowboy, aka Rodeo. He finaled 7 times.

This is Prowler. He finaled 5 times.

This is Cosmic Splendor, aka "the Cos". She finaled 3 times.

Congratulations! All your cats are beautiful. I do not have the energy for a bengal, but they are soooo pretty to look at! 'the Cos' is just gorgeous!

Thanks so much! I thought our Cos girl would do better but she got bested by her brothers. (they're all from the same litter)
At their age, the males are so much bigger, they catch the judges eye more. She'll do better once they are all adults.

So are you keeping all of them for breeding or are "weeding" them out based on what they've done so far. I love Artic - the color is unusual

Well, Prowler is ultimately going to be a pet. He's going to someone who previously purchased a bengal from us. There has been some discussion about showing him as an alter, which is fine with me based on his performance so far.
Arctic Cowboy has always been on the "retain for showing/breeding" list for us. He's not disappointed us at all...he's definitely a keeper. His color is called seal mink and I'm very fond of it too. It's very striking and the judges are starting to give these bengals some recognition if they meet all the other standards.
Cosmic has also always been on the retain list. We're keeping her for breeding and she's such a sweet girl...we had to show her. She has some remarkable features, but right now her size is limiting her success against the bigger robust boys. Time will tell if she'll be a contender for titles.

The thing I love about these 3 kittens, is that they are all fearless and completely trusting. For them everything new is an adventure, something to be conquered and if a human being is along for the fun....more the better.
All three of these bengals acted like the noisy show hall was their second home. This is a nice change of pace for me, because my primary show cat last year was a real grump at the shows. He tolerated it, but wasn't enthused. I'm pleased to have some happy campers this show year.

I know I showed a couple of litter mates. And even when one was in the alter class against my boy, I was still proud. Either way I won - as a owner or a breeder. It was cool to pit uncle against nephew and made the judges really evaluate - they didn't automatically give it to Spooky (as a vetern and well known). His nephew had some top quality features too and it was a run for the money on who would get best/2nd best of breed

Good luck in the future. Arctic almost would make me consider a bengel
