How long will it take for fur to grow back?

Hi all,
Singa was spayed sometime about 4 weeks ago. Of course they shaved her belly. But after the wound got infected the vet wraped a selfadhesive bandage around her (of course covering the wound with some cotton or something). After a week I was to take the bandage off. When I did this I saw that all her fur was full of the sticky stuff.
Since I didn't want her to groom her sticky fir I cut off the gluey part. Well of course it doesn't look too pretty, so I was wondering how long it will take for her coat to look normal again???
Does anyone know how long it takes for cat hair to grow???

If she's a long hair it would take longer to grow back to the rest of the coat. I think it depends somewhat on the time its done and the shedding/growth season. She may not have even fur till fall if its a big difference.

Ling got spayed in February and her belly fur took about a month or so to grow back.
