I agree!!!

That was risky, though. If the attacker break just one bone the woman probably would never recover.

People who go around attacking 80-year-olds should receive at least 5 years in prison.

What really interests me is if the grandma got any skin cells under her figernails, or any hair from the struggle.

Sometimes I think if I were ever attacked again I would struggle just for the DNA evidence.

Oh that is sad that a person would attack an older lady like that.

I'm glad he didn't hurt her, because he might have.

I got a great chuckle out of imagining an 80 year old banging some guy against a wall and then chasing him down a hallway to kick his butt!

Good for her for standing up for herself!

The police were quick to point out that they don't recommend fighting back like that. You could see how easily she could have been hurt, and I'm very glad she wasn't. It's just so good to hear about someone fighting back like this.
Shame on that guy for attacking an 80 yo. Hope he's feeling the pain right now.

It is not a good idea to mess with little old ladies!
My SOs grandma got up evry morning a 4 to start her house cleaning. She went on the back porch for her mop, and there was a guy out there, with a screwdriver or something, raised to stab her. She backed up, grabbed a claw hammer, charged the guy, grabbed him by the hair, and beat him with the hammer until the hair she was holding came out, then she kicked him in the privates and chased him out of the yard. When the cops got there she told them he was lucky she did not backup the other way, where the butcher knives were hanging. That will teach him to mess with a poor, defenseless old woman!

we had a story like this on the news not to long ago..the gal wasnt nearly as old but she was a grandma..

only she shot the interuder in her house, and was cussing him out too LOL (she shot him in the leg he recovered fine and is in jail)
