Okay I live with my dad and he has a dog and my sister's dog stays here and I have a cat and a dog. And I have noticed I have to first sweep the carpetted floors and then vacume them and then put carpet fresh and revacume does anyone else have to do this.

I have never swept the carpet before vaccuuming! I have used a broom to clean along the edges, but never the whole room! And I don't use carpet fresh very often.

I don't like to vaccuum very much. I have a robot vac...roomba, so I can let it do its job, while I do something else! LOL!

Is the Carpet Fresh okay for the kitties? I'm just paranoid about using any cleaning chemicals they come into close contact with.

Me too!

We don't have carpet anymore so the hardwood floors get swept and run over with a swiffer wet jet to keep them clean, but at our last place we swept and then vacuumed although I admit it didn't get done every day!

I read the label on the can and it says to vacume it up before allowing pets on it and I put the dogs outside since the yard is fenced in and Tavia hates the vacume monster and hides in the laundry room the whole time I vacume
