My mom had this problem. She said it can happen because of bacteria and that you can actually get a yeast infection there! Her doctor gave her an anointment, which takes away the red bumps and discomfort. It clears her up quite quickly. I have no idea what it is called, but you might want to ask your doctor. He also told her to buy a better, wicking, sportsbra (you can get those at a good sporting goods store like Cabellas or REI) and to immediately shower after finishing your task. Don't leave the bra on.

This is an interesting topic. I have tried the deoderant and it works as well as the baby powder, so whatever you are comfortable with.

OKay i am really embarrassed
to say this BUT my body produces too much adrenaline so i have a sweating problem. Now, with the help of my doctor i have the sweating under control but i still feel the waves that pass through my body. ANYWAYS
My doctor told me to exfoliate (about twice a week) my underarms....that gets all the dead skin off and it helps with sweating...so it might work in your cleavage area....worth a try.

I do wear really good sport bras but as many people mentioned its the sweat!!
Anyhow last night when I went to the garden fair there is a home grown business from North Freedon WI called Four Elements (www.fourelementsherbals.com)or (www.naturesacres-herbals.com) I have been buying many products from her over the years and she recommended a herbal Facial Toner that she sells and it seems to have calmed down that "area". She also sells a botanical liniment for sore muscles that works real well. Lets just say I bought lots of stuff!!

My suggestion is baby wipes for on the go... after a job, a quick wipe under the shirt (I carry baby wipes for everything: makeup removal, hand cleaning, public table cleaning, etc.).

And at home, wash with a soap/body gel that has syllica acid (sp?) or use an acne pad with syllica acid--- no hydrogen peroxide though!

I don't know if you'd sweat this quickly away or not, but I always use Clearasol ( I know that's not spelled right) It always manages to keep away the pimples and whiteheads from my body.

I break out with body powder or deo, but I don't like the feeling of the deo. I break out there too. I use my toner in that area and a sacylic acid based pimple product. (I think by clean and clear).
