Well, nothing for me, unfortunately.

I bought bottled water, a case of Pepsi, a case of Gatoraid to sell at the matches this summer to raise funds for the Juniors going to Nationals.

I bought DVDs of The Venture Bros., Batman (the one with Michael Keaton), and a Whitesnake live DVD/CD set for hubby's birthday. No surprises, though - he drove me to Best Buy to shop.

Then we got dinner at this great Chinese buffet place. He loves Chinese and sushi, and he got both for only $12 each.

I bought a new car! went car shopping but didnt intend to buy a car-- Was looking at either a Toyota Corolla or a Nissan Sentra/Altima or Honda Civic. Something smaller than my old Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have been looking for a new car for a couple of weeks-- wanted a 2007 Toyota Yaris but cant get the color i want with the package i wanted so i said forget it. Almost had decided on a Toyota Corolla S in impulse Red color with spoiler and all but when i saw my new car i fell in love-- It was cheaper than what we were lookign to pay and the perfect color i had been looking for (a dark gray) with all the options i wanted already on it!

Ohh yeah i got a 2006 Saturn Ion 3

I had a saturn SL2 ( the ion replaced the sl model a few years ago) and loved my old saturn-- we sold it not too long ago and it was still running with over 300K miles on it. I am hoping this one lasts the same! Its dark outhere now but ill try to post a pic tomorrow!

Thankfully I've been stuck at work all day so can't spend any of the money that I absolutely do not have, lol. Although I do have to get gas when I get off of work, and maybe a movie rental. :-)

Since this was posted on Friday, I will answer for then (I had a boring day today
). On Friday I bought: an iced coffee, a cute summer shirt from Pacific Sun, which then inspired me to buy 3 more at Target
, a new dish drainer (finally found the wooden one I wanted), and one of those coffee cup trees (it sits on the counter and you hang the cups from it).

I bought nothing Friday, I was working all day. BUT Sat and Sun were another story! Yesterday we went to Amana Colonies and bought lots of different teas for iced tea,(YUMMERS!) and honey got some beer(YUCK!) , then we went to Coral Ridge mall (Iowa City) and got Fathers day presents for his dad and mine.
Today we went to Davenport and Honey got a haircut and I got a pedicure, then we went out to eat, got cat supplies for the month, got two sheet sets from Bed, Bath and Beyond, and topped the day off with a Double chocolate latte w/coffee at Krispie Creme. YUMMERS!!!!!! (oh yeah, last night I went and did my weekly shopping with my friend at midnight)
Suffice it to say, We spent WAY to much money this weekend! we are SOOO broke! But we had a blast! It was a fun way to spend our anniversary weekend!

Congrats!!! How many years has it been?

We have a rule in our house. We don't buy non-food items unless they are 75% off. However, evey month on the 12th we spend $$$. We got married on the 12th and we try to do a small celebration every month instead of a big celebration once a year.
