Nothing today - I bought too much yesterday!

I actually did buy a candy bar from the vending machine here in the office for an afternoon snack!

A sofa, a double bed, a fridge, a dining table and chairs, a set of china, some casseroles and two rugs! I am in London trying to furnish an apartment I just bought so that I can let it. And it is so frustrating as I have discovered that most shops these days can't just sell you something and let you take it away - almost everything has to be ordered and delivered maybe 6 weeks down the line! And that is no good at all for me - I have three days in which to do everything. SO I have been going into places and before I even look around I ask what their stock/delivery situation is. Tomorrow I have to get curtains for 4 rooms, a washing machine, another bed, a wardrobe and bedside cabinets and some lamps, plus a unit for the living room. I wish I could say that this kind of shopping is fun but it isn't.

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
I picked up some Mike's Hard Lemonade, Captain Morgan Rum, Kahlua[anyone up for some Mudslide Lites?], spreadable cheese [for my latest addictive snack], and some kitty litter.

I also paid nearly 700 bucks to get my van out of the shop... but it's worth it. It runs a LOT smoother now. These guys actually took care of things the first shop didn't. You wouldn't realize how much an air filter in a car can change how it runs... until you get a vehicle like mine!

OK, I just spent more...instead of dinner I got two cute tank tops from Old Navy and a short sleeve shrug. I Went bold for the reddish pink color - which is TOTALLY outside of my norm...

Wow that sounds like a deal! My laundry costs $2 a load!

Today I bought $100 worth of paint, $70 of various closet organizers, and concrete patch. Yippee, lots of work ahead for the weekend.

Lip gloss, mints, a spa candle, and a procelain ornament.

All 75% off

I almost never buy non-food items unless they are 75% off.
