Aggravating lunch hour!!

I should have just stayed in.......

Went to the bank.........15 minutes in line.....
Went to Walmart..........25 minutes to get there when it should only take 10!
Didn't have any time once I got there to get my stuff, so I had to turn right around and come back!
Once I get back here, I find the boss left right after I did, so I could have been late coming back after all!!



To make a long story short, I should have stayed in.......at least I saved money by not going into Walmart........but then again, I wasted gas, which nowadays cost more than the shopping!

Long lineups are always such a hassle!

How about when a 90 year old person is in front of you driving like 5km.... and your in a hurry because you only have an hour.

Oh yeah Natalie, that's another thing.........I'm all for caution, but gees!!! Some people are just SOOO slow!

I am awful I would of stayed at walmart LOL

I had a lunch hour like that yesterday! Thank goodness I get an hour, but i went to Taco Bell for lunch, and sat in line for 1/2 hr!! Good thing my taco's were worth it!

Then I hit construction on the way home and that took me 15 min to get thru that, so by time I got home, I had 5 minutes to eat and then head back to work!

I hate traffic and long lines!!

if it makes ya feel any better I only get a half hour

At least you guys get a lunch... My boss "asks" us to stay by the phone at all times and to eat at our desks... sucks!

I don't mind so much waiting a tad But when people get there stuff up there then decide they don't want half of it, or argue that it was on a sales table, or it takes them 5 minutes to find there money, or they have $12.00 and have bought $60.00 worth of stuff Why can't people try and figure out at least have close to what there buying My Hubby always tells me to remember the 6 Ps Prior preparation prevents piss poor perfomance.. People be ready when you get in line

My uncle does that. He has a heart condition that can cause him to possibly seize up in the middle of the road. So he drives very slowly because it is easier to steer the car to the shoulder at 40 mph than at 80 mph

He doesn't drive very often.

I am the only one where I work who goes out to eat. All of my coworkers are like "how can you afford it as a grad student?" I met my husband for lunch every single day. He works very late to help me support my grad school so I don't see him enough.

sorry, that just made me laugh, and I really needed that.

I alwatys thought that stores should have a check out lline strictly devoted to people on their lunch hour!!!

Same here, unless there is at least 3 people in the office we are expected (i think thats the best word because he doesn't even ask anymore) to stay and he will always call to ask some stupid question during that lunch break too!

I hate driving behind slow people!!

At my work 50% of the time we have all our checkouts open - it's not our fault that everybody comes at once.
