That Annabelle and Abigail my two foster kittens go up for adoption. I have to take them to the rescue tonight to go to the fair this weekend. I think it's gonna be a rough night for me....

Need some vibes to help me through this...I've been taking care of them now for almost two months, we've been through 2 rounds of viral infections, hand feedings and the death of their brother. It's gonna be so tough not to see them anymore...

Oh, my goodness, we have all been through so much with you and these babies! They are going to be such a blessing to a loving family!

Kiss them, take a few pics, and send them on their way. Just like a kid going to kindergarten, or off to college...you gave them the start they needed. Thanks for your loving care!

Oh Beckiboo...you made me cry with this post.
I have to keep remembering that....does it get easier the more times you do it?

Some are easier than others. Giving up two who you nearly lost, and knowing their brother is forever your angel, definitely makes it harder! But send them along, and a new litter will come your way.

You are doing a great thing! It hurts to say good-bye, but it is worth it to have spent the time with them.

I have been fostering for over a year now and i have had at least ten litters of kittens leave my place for their new homes. It does get a little easier over time, but it still hurts a little each time one of them goes. The hurt goes away very quickly though when I take in the next round of kittens that would have been living outside/euthanized/inhumanely killed by a farmer if this space in my home and my heart was not open for them.

You are doing a great thing. Not only are you not contributing to the horrific cat overpopulation problem, but you are actually helping with it by fostering. You should be very proud! Now you can go find the next kitty that needs you!

Oh...there probably won't be a new litter until i can get mom dried up, spayed and find a good farm for her to go to. So a few more weeks yet. Probably enough time to get over these two going, and decide if i'm really strong enough to do this!

thank you everyone for all your support through this final goodbye and everything that i have gone through with this family. It was quite the emotional roller coaster.

they're gorgeous babies! your Abigail looks almost exactly like my Antigone- chubby cheeks and big ears
They're beautiful healthy kittens, they'll get the best of homes thanks to you and your love and care

Aww. . .absolutely adorable pictures. I'm sorry that you are separated, but I think they'll fit in great with a wonderful family.

Well...they are gone. I dropped them off at the rescue and had to just walk away. They will go up at the adoption fair tomorrow. Please send vibes that they both find the right furfamilies (maybe together) and some vibes from my big guy Ernie that he finds someone looking for an older, but still wonderful kitty.

thanks everyone for your support.
