I found this little man at Petsmart yesterday. His name is Tiger because he's so aggressive and loves flaring. At the moment I have him in a 1 gallon bowl, but he's very happy because he has another betta, Legolas, to strut his stuff with!

Yeah, I know that
I keep all of them behind greeting cards and let them do their morning and evening flares. It's so cute when all five of them do it!

Tiger says thankyou, he knows he's handsome

Very cute...I just love those colors!
I adore bettas. Got one a few years ago, but he passed away after about a year and a half, so I got another one, a red one (which I absolutely love) named Clay who lived a good few years all by himself in a ten gallon tank

And bettas always know they're already handsome

Tiger seems very lucky

He is beautiful! I wish I could have one without my kitties bothering him.
I didn't know that they will grow to the size of their environment, and stuck one by himself in a 27 gallon tank. He grew to be huge. He was fine with the other fish I eventually put in there with him. the pet store said it was ok as long as the other fish did not have the flowing fins like another betta. He would swim with the black mollies like he was one of them.
We worked for a guy that would throw his in the same tank occasionally and let them fight. It was kind of a rotten thing to do, but it was interesting to watch them go about it. The will lock lips and roll over and over. He never let them fight for long, and they didn't really seem to hurt each other. He wanted me to bring by big guy over and fight him, but I never would. You would think there would be something more interesting to do on Friday nights in Kansas City than watch fish fights.
