This morning I saw a tapeworm on squiggles bum..I quickly called the vet, and they gave me the pills...Told me to treat both babies as well, saying that they might have them if they are in the house together.
Is it possible to get them other than from fleas?
I have been checking her, as well as the vet since I got her, and she doesnt have any...

Im just worried because of the moving to a new house..

So here is my question. I ran home, crushed the pill, put it in tuna..After one lick she knew..So then I put it in another cat food..She still knew..
So then....I tried pushing a pill down her throat..Got bit and scratched..She even wiggled out of the towel...
After that I was hungry and was eating, and of course..She had to be nebby..So I thought What the heck, let me try this..,nope she must have smelled the pill in the food..

I have TRIED EVERYTHING...
The babies I am sure I can overpower somehow. But she is not so nice when it comes to anything "vetish"..
I am thinking I shouldnt treat the babies till I get her done though, since she is the one with the apparent problem..But I am gonna run out of pills, and really dont want this whole experience to be a waste

I dont play with worms, or fleas...AT ALL..First sight and I get chills...

I know starvation isnt the answer..but if I leave the food down will she eventually eat it?? My mother would always tell me "if your hungry you'll eat it whether you like it or not"
Which I hated to hear..Although it came back to be when I was trying to get her to take this stupid pill

My vet gave me this long thing that I use to shoot the pill down the back of
Ginas throat, it works fantastic, one of us holds her and the other opens her jaw and pushes the pill, I think you can buy them in pet stores. I even used it to medicate my 20 pounder.

Definitely try a pill gun. Stroke her throat...it'll relflexively make her swallow. Burrito her with the towel and get down on th ground and get her between your knees (and cross your ankles over each otehr so she can't back away) as firmly as possible without being too rough.
