Momma cat is acting very odd...help?

Hello! My momma cat is acting very strange. She spends most of her time out of the kitten box, going in for a quick feeding, and then getting out.

The kitties are fat and pudgy, and not screaming...but I am worried.

Also, momma ( Twitch ) is meowing, and following us around. Its sad, and we can't figure out why. It has been suggested she is back in heat, but...its a different behaviour. Does anyone have any advice?

Maybe she wants you to babysit It's hard when they want something and can't tell you. Have you tried stopping and just giving her some love? Maybe she wants some extra attention. I have a male cat who talks a lot, mostly at the door and window. I always wonder what he is looking for.

try loving her while she is nursing them....
