Hello!


How's everyone's first day of June going so far??

Our heat advisory has finally ended here
we have a much cooler breeze this morning.

Last night Jeff and I went out and met his sister and her bf for coffee, and today my main goal is to feel good enough to go out and run a few errands.

Good Morning!! I slept really well last night. No weird dreams!
Its going to be a busy day for me at work today. I have a ton of paperwork to do!!
Hopefully it doesn't take to long to get done!!

Woohoo, first day of June!!
That means less than a month until the wonderful season of summer! I can't wait!

It is cooler here today too, although still hot, but not as humid so thats good


Hopefully everyone has a good day, and remember its Thursday, only one more day to the weekend

Good morning!

Today we finally have some cooler weather. Except that it's cloudy and raining. Why can't it be cool and sunny?

At least this weekend should be really nice, around 20-25C and sunny! Which is great because I volunteered to do security at the Tour de l'Ile (a bike tour here in Montreal) on Sunday. I'll be guarding a street corner all morning and once people are done going through, I get to do the rest of the tour.

But today, it's exam day. I have a mid-term in my Spanish class. So I get to spend most of my day studying Spanish grammar and reviewing my vocabulary. Shouldn't be too hard though... Spanish is easy! (or at least it is when your first language is French)
Still, I'm nervous about the oral comprehension part.

Yes good luck with your exam....ew, I just hated exams in school.I would much rather do a big project than en exam.

it was the first day of winter here today and it was a beautiful day - I spent the afternoon outside with Jasmine doing some gardening!!

its now 11pm here (Thursday night) so I will be off to bed soon.

Does it get real cold during your winter Danielle?

I water sealed half the deck and my back steps yesterday, and I was hoping to do the rest of the deck and the front porch today, but it looks like I won't be able to. We are supposed to get on and off showers for the next 3 days, starting this afternoon. Hopefully in between the showers I can get some weeding and mulching done.

I am still trying decide what I am doing today. One of my nieces is graduating this weekend. I am leaning to wards getting her a gift card to the Campus bookstore - Thanks for that idea Mackenzie
I may take a drive into Providence later and pick that up. I've never been to that college before, so it should be interesting.

One of my other nieces is graduating next week. We ended up having a coworker of my husband's do a painting of a flower for her, and she will also get a gift certificate from the campus bookstore. this one won't be for books, since her parents will be paying for those, but for regular merchandise. Apparently there is a sweatshirt and some other items she has had her eye on. She is going to my alma mater, so I know my way around that campus. So I will probably make a trip to UMass either today or tomorrow.

I also took some pictures around the yard yesterday that I have to upload and go through....

Afternoon everyone!
Danielle I can't believe it's winter! Whats the temp like in Winter over there?

It's pretty overcast here today. I just feel so ill. I can't be bothered to do anything. I woke up with such a sore throat and it's not gone away and my head is thumping. It hurts to turn my head because my neck/glands are so swollen. I really don't think I'll be in work tomorrow if it carries on.

On the other hand it's 1 week to my birthday! woohoo!

BRRRRRRRRRRRR ITS FREEZING HERE!!!

right now (at 11.32pm thursday night) its 10C (50F)

during the day today the highest temperature it reached was 16C (60F)

I HATE WINTER!!!!!
