I couldnt remember where to post this(sorry) but I just wanted some vibes for Gus please. He went out yesterday(Thursday) and I havent seen him since then. I find it rather odd because hes usually outside, near by. I am really missing him

Is Gus neutered? If not, maybe he is following the smell of a female in heat. It is the beginning of kitten season!

Oh yes, he sure is! I did that the first week I had him.....
Well, hopefully he has not wandered far. Have you done the basic checks of sheds and outbuildings, knocking on neighbors doors, etc? My boy Will went missing, and he found his way home. It is very scary to have them gone, though, isn't it?

Yes-I have checked around here, but as far as asking neighbors, no I havent done that....theres so many cats out here, they probly wouldnt know him if they saw him
I would still start knocking on doors, asking if you can check in their garage, etc. When Will went missing, I went to the dairy farm he came from, and asked if they had seen them. They had not, but at least they knew to be on the look-out.
It is so hard to feel helpless.
Another idea is to walk around late at night, when he might be prowling. Come home soon, Gus!
