yeah we're very excited, but our little one seems to be having a bad time carrying them, shes still only young herself, but hey thats something we have to deal with. we're giving her extra love but she just rejects it, so now we're gona let her play it how she wants to....love her.

I know you had planned to allow your two females to have one litter each...but it is very important that they are both kept indoors only now until their kittens are weaned and they can both be spayed. I would also encourage you to have the kittens fixed prior to going into homes or following up to ensure that they are spayed/neutered by their new familes.

I realize that it is very exciting to be expecting kittens, but I would encourage those who have been through the experience to have their momma spayed once the kittens are weaned and then contact a rescue group to foster a pregnant cat. I know that the rescue group I volunteer with is being inundated with requests from shelters that have had lots of pregnant cats dropped off...so there is definately a need for foster homes and who better than someone who has had experience with a pregnant cat.
