I called a few places about Squiggles spay, just to get prices, etc..A few told me to bring records of her vaccinations with me..
And now that I am thinking, the one that I made an appointment with didnt say anything, besides that she needed to be in a carrier, and dropped off in the morning, and picked up in the afternoon..

So does all places? Just wanted your input..She was a stray, so when I took her to the local Petco, they werent sure what she had/ didnt have..So they only gave her 2 I believe..And I cant even remember what they were. But since I am moving its packed somewhere

I really REALLY dont want to go through 30 boxes to find a piece of paper..IF i have to i have no choice..but geez

Just wanted some input..
Do I keep her baby away from her afterwards??

Thats my worry, I dont know how Petco would even do that. If they have records, and if they do, are they on hand..Thats why if its easier to get them out of the box, then I better start digging now..
I can call but they arent even open on Thursdays, to ask what if I need them..And if I have to unpack and repack boxes, tomorrow is my easiest day

I'm sure they do keep records at Petco...every vet has to keep records. I think it is important to know what shots she was given, because if she just got her rabies shot a few months ago, you don't want her to get it again. And if there are shots they didn't give that the new vet thinks she needs, that will be important, too.

Start digging! And great job getting her spayed!

Yes Petco has records... It is something with the health dept...They keep records Call them tell them your pet and they can even fax over proof that you paid and got vaccinated.

those are the 2 most important correct?
I know I will find them, I mean I dont intend to live life without her records..I just wasnt sure if I had to take them for the spay..Thats all she is scheduled for that day..

Ya my plan is to take baby as well. The secretary said she was gonna check with the vet..She said usually they dont take them under 5 months , but she would see. Being that he will be exactly 4 months, she thinks he will...

Then poor old Milo/Garfield...which ever name my son picks...the little baby I got out of the car..He will be done in about 2 months too. Unless she says of course that he can come along, he will be about 3 months...

Trust me they will all be done. Not only because I dont want incest kittens, but because I dont believe in letting them breed when who knows where they originated from, specially when Im trying to save other peoples cats at the moment..Plus being that this is a new house I am going too..I dont need anyone spraying ANYTHING..My boyfriend said to just get the boys done..But nope, all of them will be done..Momma first too..She doesnt need to go into heat and be misreable anymore..poor little girl

Windy City Kitty :)
Rabies and FVRCP are generally thought of as being the most "important" because they are the safest vaccines and in the case of FVRCP, control a disease which is more common and easy to get than say, FIV.

If you take the kittens to a humane society or rescue, they will do a pediatric spay. Or, you can find out what vet the humane society uses and call that vet.
