I have a five week old kitten that I found and took into my home.
Last saturday I took him into the vet and found that he was dehydrated and malnourished. I was told to bottle feed him kitten milk replacement for the next week or two. I have been doing this as directed and he loves it!! My only concern is that I try to make him drink water to prevent dehydration and he shys away fromt he water dish. Is this normal? Is he maybe just good with having the formula that he doesn't want the water? I'm hoping he comes to his senses and tries the water. I will be grateful for any advice. This is the first cat I've ever had (kitten at that), so I am quite new to cat world.
