Right here! :)
If I go to this trip, we will first fly to Stanstead, then have to wait from 11 AM to 5 PM, so someone suggested going to Bishop´s Stortford, as it is close, and going into London could be risky timewise.

Is there anyone here living close to this town, or even close to Stanstead, I woulnt nesseceraly have to go to this town.

I would love to meet someone from TCS!!!

I am really upset, I live half an hour from Stansted and would love to have met you, but unfortunately we are really busy that day with things that can't be re-arranged. We have to take our dis-abled neighbour's car for a service,
and it is our elder son's birthday and he and his family are coming to us for a meal.
I would recomend a visit to Great Dunmow rather than Bishops Stortford it is a prettyvillage.

Hope you have a good trip.

Wow, thank you very much for this, Anne!!! I looked at the website and really like this town. I will print these information out tomorrow at work and tell the people about it, I should at least manage to get someone with me there while we *wait* for the flight to Slovakia.

To bad you are so busy that day
Will you be coming on July 8th? It´s not certain for me yet, but I really hope I will be able to.

Hey, Anne, one more question....
Do you know if there is an easy trainride to Great Dunmow and how long it would take by train, and how long time if would take by taxi, and if it would be very expensive with taxi?

I think I saw somewhere that the airport express train from Stanstead to London goes through Bishop Stortford, so it sounds easy, but I imagine there should also be trains that go from Stanstead to Great Dunmow, and shouldnt take to much time, judging from the distance on the map :p

Hi,
You can get a bus from the airport to Dunmow, I think it is a 33 and the journey takes 15mins. While you are at the airport take a few mimutes to look at the Past Times shop, its at at back near the internation departures.

Thank for these informations!
This is a very short trip. so we will be able to use the time well, while staying in the UK.

I cant wait to get to an English town again
Do you know if there is a Waterstones over there? Not that I am going there to shop
There are just some things I miss from the UK, some little things like a certain throat soothers I get at Boots, the Twinings Earl Grey tee in the black boxes, we have Twinings Earl Grey here......but its totally different!, I love Waterstones, and you know, just small things... I wish I were going into London though, last year I bought this grenn tea and white tea at a market on Piccadilly street (they are also selling in Camden Lock market (isnt that the name of the market?) Its just the best tea (form YumChaa)....anyway I look so much forward to go there.

And well, the rest of the travel as well
I have never been to Eastern Europe, have always wanted to go there, so I am very excited. Have travelled to most countries in Western Europe, and really like that, but the Eastern Europe countries seem so different.
