I'm sleeping last night. I get woken up by my boyfriend, saying "Come look at this" all excited. So I'm thinking there's something going on, house burning down, cats doing something cute together, SOMETHING.

Nope...at 1:50 am he woke me up to show me that he scored over 110,000 on Text Twist.

As much as I love him, I love my sleep too....

Does anyone else have someone that does this to them?

He was excited and wanted to share that with you!! Some guys do seem to pick odd times to show you "exciting" things!!

That sounds like something John would do too.

I went to bed last night at about 9:30- super tired, and I had to get up at 6AM for work today.

1st, at about 11PM, Harley wakes me up, standing on my pillow, right in my face - meowing as loud as possible - no good reason either! I get up, he has food, he has water, his litter box is clean, I even gave him 2 treats before bed! This went on for about a 1/2 hour - I have no idea what he wanted - but I put him on my pillow and petted him - and he went to sleep

2nd, 12:30PM, John wakes me up, just to tell me that before he comes to bed, he is going over to the neighbors to drop off a key - ok, thanks for waking me up to tell me that - it'll only take him like 2 seconds to go over there, I didn't need to know!

Just a peaceful nights sleep is all I wanted!

Lee doesn't wake me up for stuff like that. He will yell at me to come down stairs while I am half dressed to see something like a bird in her nest on our porch or a doe eating my flowers (he just lets them eat and doesn't run them off
) Its a good thing we don't have any neighbors that can see me in my underwear running to see what the big deal is!!

Oh yea, even stupider stuff. My roommate once got me out of the shower, soaking wet with just a towel, to show me something on the History Channel. And we have DVR, so he could very easily have just recorded it.

I'm guilty of waking him up too though...

The only one that wakes me up is Trout. Now that we are letting her in the room at night, I wake up with her on me as well as many of her toys and she sits there waiting for me to throw her ball so she can fetch it.

I have to ignore her and pretend to sleep for like 10 minutes before she gets the hint that I'm not in play mode.

the guy I'm "seeing" will call me in the middle of the night to make sure I'm home and not doing something I'm not supposed to
Never mind that he's up and doing goodness knows what
Other friends will also call me in the wee hours of the morning after a night out... good thing I can fall back to sleep *snap* like that! The only time the animals wake me up is if my doggy Vino had to get up and then he'll bark so that I sit up so he can get back on the bed- he will NOT jump up on the quilt, only the sheets

LOL...soooo glad I'm not the only one effected by night-people.

I Understand too...we didn't see each other all day yesterday. I basically got home played with the cats a littl and then dropped on the bed.

My boss told me to buy a blow horn and set it off every morning at 1 am and see if B stops waking me up...

That did cross my mind when I was reading that. But I took it maybe you have a different side of you that he knows more than we do?

I wish Teufel and Kaylee WOULD JUST SLEEP!
They have to be in my room for the night, and if they dont sleep they turn into elephants. They open my waldrobes let it bang shut, then meow because they cant get out.
they jump on my bed, the bash into the aquarium, and chase each other non stop for hours.

I even wake up yelling at them.
This morning Kaylee did it at 5:30 am, i woke up talking to her "please sweety let mummy sleep peacefully for another 2 hours!"
then when its time for me to get up at 7:30 they are both so snuggly and ready to sleep under the covers

Oh yeah.
He's gotten better about it after getting his head bit off a few times, although he is still guilty of watching something funny in bed and waking me up laughing at 1:00 in the morning. He's been told in no uncertain terms that none of the Scary Movies can be watched in bed after 11:00. He DID wake me up at midnight to watch the scene with Pamela Anderson and Jenny McCarthy in that movie. I didn't think it was all that funny.

My ex-boyfriend used to wake me up in the middle of the night once in a while to share his existential angst. There's nothing more fun then trying to figure out the meaning of life at 3am when I'm half asleep.

LOL....I'm totally cracking up here!

I know the pain of the TV! B tried to get it into our bedroom again when we moved (the apt didn't have ANY room), but I put my foot down on that. He would fall asleep leaving the TV on, only for me to get woken up to some Anime cartoon at 3 AM. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

I would've asked him "Can you just figure it out in your dreams? I was just about to find out why I exist!"

Movin' on up!
Christmas morning 1987, I was awakened at 6 a.m. and dragged out of bed to look at SNOW! Granted, It was the first time, in over 40 years, that Tucson had snow on Christmas but, I like to sleep in on holidays and I HATE snow.

THAT little escapade cost my late husband a VERY expensive dinner out!
