She is not producing any milk and soon she will have been pregnant for 64 days. She is showing no signs of labor. What is going on?? U think I should have the vet take a look?

My cat was exactly the same, I kept checking if she had milk but didnt. I was rubbing her tummy the night she went into labour and noticed that her milk sacs had filled up. This doesnt really make sense as we woman produce milk way before the due date but cats might be different.

Hi,
I don't really know much of cat pregnancy, but maybe you could just call your vet. Then you would know what's going on.
Hope you will get cute healthy kittens soon. Let us know.

Cats are pregnant for 61-70 days with ave being around 64-67 so she isn't too late. I would just keep an eye on her. if she seems like she is in pain or she goes to 69 days I would call your vets office. Some cats may not leak milk before labor. or it may only happen 1-3 days before they have the kittens.

BTW my cat is named Angel also and I believe she is preg. but still not 100% sure.

Every cat is diffreent mine was stubburn and held on tell welll they just flew out... Anyways
milk production can happen before during labor or after... Once the babies are born you will know more... She is not having a big litter so that is godd thing... If she is not producing at birth call the vet... There is shots to get her going... ALso try to give her KMR mixed in her food...

Thx all for your advice, I appreciate that! lol Yes, I called the vet this morning and she said the same thing as some of you had said, she might produce the milk at labor. I can feel three sacks, but one sack is HUGE compare to the other two. Maybe it just one big kitten or maybe twins or it is actually two seperate sacks. It will be interesting to see if she has twins or not! lol anyway I will show you guys pictures when she has her kittens.

She LOVES having her tummy rubed! It is cute! She will put her front paws on my nose and sometimes switch from side to side because of her babies moving inside of her. :-D

When the milk sack is full is when you can feel a ball under the nipple, and it is enlarged. Sometimes the sack will start to drag as mom nurses her kittens.
