It could but not necessarily. It is really hard to predict something like that.

Cookie had big feet and a long tail, and now he is my LONGEST cat. Still not fully grown, but he is probably gonna be the biggest. Still has pretty big feet.
I love pics, so I will show you some as he's grown.

First pic 13 weeks old approx. That'ss his sis next to him- she still looks like a kitten now at age 10 mos!

This is my siggy pic, but in this version you can see just how long his tail is. He's maybe 4-5 mos old here.

This pic was taken about a month or two ago- He is now about 10 mos or so and is longer than Zakk, and almost as big as Rocky.. Though I would say he is much slimmer still. You can see his sisters feet in the background, she's got tiny ones compared to him!

Bet he's gonna be about 13/14 lbs of red tabby - handsome too

I know in some breeds (like rexes) the red tabbies for some reason tend to be larger then the other colors. I've had many red tabbies in the litters and all of them are bigger then the other colors when grown.

Thanks! His sissy is very pretty too. Interesting what you say about red tabbys.. I've noticed that most people who have them here don't have any real petite ones. True however that orange/red kittens are mostly male. The only orange female I can think of here is beckiboo's latest foster mom. He just seems so big compared to his sister, and even Zakk who is a pretty small male from what I can tell 9.5 lbs and is at an ideal weight.

Our vet pointed out Dexter's large paws when he was a kitten and predicted he would be a big cat...
He was right.
Dexter is huge. Tall, long and heavy...almost 16lbs.
His sister is only 91/2 lbs.

Love the kitty pictures.

And remember most females will be smaller (in any breed) and the males a lot larger. In some purebred breeds the size difference is pretty great!

Guess its like a "macho" kitty? Who wants to mate with a little male that looks like a girl? lol

My red boy Garfield is my biggest cat...he is just a nice tall kitty. But my red foster girl Natalie was tiny. Both are pure bred moggies (mongrels). I've heard that 70% of red kitties are male.

I don't know about foot size and eventual size, but I would guess that is going to be a big kitty!

I was wondering about this myself. My one kitten Chris has huge paws, twice the size of the other kittens. I think he'll be big. He's the biggest kitten period.

I know it works that way with dogs, and by the sounds of the replies in this thread, I think you're kitty will be a biggy

I know our Red boy Samuel is a long fella. He has pretty good sized paws that looked huge to me when he was a kitten... and it seems like he is still growing. He just turned 2 in April though so I dunno. He seems to be bulking up now and getting out of the skinny kitten phase.

Most likely, cats with big feed will grow up to be big. That's true for dogs, and even humans. You can probably expect a big kitty growing into those big ol' paws.
