How's it hanging?

Hey guys! I feel so out of the loop after having been away for...for...I have no idea how long...but what feels like an ETERNITY (but in reality is probably only one or two months).

How's everyone doing? What's new with you guys?!

Waffle turned 4 on Saturday and Matt and I had a nice little birthday celebration for her on Sunday complete with "cake" and greenie candles!

Hope all is well with everyone!! Let me know what's up, I'm dying to be back in the know.

I didn't know you had someone new in your life. Count me out of the loop too.

If it's any consolation, you're not the only one who's not so much in the know! I think I might be missing a lot of info at the present mo. Is there actually a loop these days, or is it just a string with no ends?

I agree about that first part! My computer was crashed for a while and I was also attempting to learn how to balance grad school with the rest of my life so I felt a little hectic over the last few months. I think I've got things down again though, so I'm just happy to be back with you guys.

To answer the two of you who asked about Matt (and I AM sorry for casually mentioning him like you guys should know who in the heck I'm talking about, especially since so many of you were totally there for me after my horrendous breakup last year) he is my fairly recent boyfriend, though he and I have actually known each other for over a year. Matt is a yoga instructor at the gym where I teach and he also does biofeedback. Aside from that he's in the same grad program as me (Mental Health Counseling) and so we have a lot in common. It turns out he had liked me since we met over a year ago but the timing was always off. Everything kind of matched up a few months ago and he's currently the most thoughtful boyfriend I could have imagined. He's really great AND he looooooves Waffle like there's no tomorrow (sounds like a keeper, right?!)

School is great! I love my classes and the program that I'm in. The material is so interesting and I seem to be doing really well so far. I do get a bit stressed and neurotic with it at times when I feel like I can't possibly keep up, but I really truly love it!

This semester I am teaching 5 classes at the gym a week. I love teaching, and this is the second semester that I get to teach what is now my FAVORITE class of all time - On-The-Ball! It's fantastic! I absolutely love it!

Gail and Beth...what have you two been up to lately?!?!

I've missed you guys!!!!!!!

I'm adding a new kitten to our little furfamliy in July - Harley probly won't be too excited, but John & I are anyways!

Aww congrats on the new kitty! Hopefully Harley will adjust better than you think. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a smooth transition with the new little guy!

It's nice to have so many positives all at once, even with all of the stress of school and my tendency to bite off more than I can chew! My first nephew is going to be born this month as well, and I can't even begin to tell you how ecstatic I am for that!!!

I did miss you guys though. There was a void in my life without your cheesy humor there to fill it!
