My poor little baby Coco. Cooco means the world to me. She always has a kiss for me when I get home & she goes everywhere she can with me. She is such a faithful little dog.
I took her to a differnent vet today as the one she was seeing is MORON!! She has been on Proin now for a month & a half. At first it worked, but she was dribbling again. The vet couldn't find anything visibly wrong with her, she looks & acts healthy. So she scheduled exploratory surgery for Coco on June 13th. I am soooo worried. Coco's litter had some...problems...for lack of a better word. We never should have gotten her, she came from a BYB. I still love her, but was unable to make dad understand she was not a good choice. The breeder meant the best & has made significant improvements(it help when I threaten to blab all over to anyone who will listen how bad he is). Anyways, there are only 3 of 11 pups left alive. Four were farm dogs & died from car accidents, one died shortly after birth, one died b/c it's liver never fully developed(he lived to be 10 months old), & the other two "ran away" never to return.
Either Coco has a birth defect that can be fixed, or one that cannot be fixed. The vet who spayed her might have goofed & nicked her sphincter, too. Anyways, the vet doesn't think it's anything to worry about, that if there is something wrong, worst case scenario, Coco will have to wear a diaper forever & need me to wipe her butt after she goes pee.
The things we do for the ones we love....
