I enjoy the shopping part, its the actual trying on and trying to decide which one makes you look the least flabby I hate. I have a larger chest and it makes it hard to buy tops. Its hard to buy shirts I don't pop out of!
All those cute tops offer NO support. my thighs are gross too. Can we say Stretch marks??

I just bought a new one a few weeks ago from Zellers and surprisingly it fits and looks pretty good. I usually hate them because they are usually too low or too small, even when you buy the right size or a size bigger.

If I'm going swim suit shopping that means I'm going on holiday! Which means no work and lots of sunshine! I don't worry about my body on the beach. Although you notice the slim girls, you'll also notice the enormous ones wearing very ill fitting swim wear...
..... thats so true!

I don't mind shopping for them - there are some really really cute ones out there! I don't think I look horrible, I just try to forget about it and stay in the water

Count me as a swim-suit shopping HATER. Lol. It's awful. I am ultra pear shaped. Average sized from the waste up, and then boom! Gigantic hips, rear, and thighs. If I could wear pants and a swim suit top I'd be alright. But seriously, I completely understand about the bottom half. Not a pretty sight when you have thighs that could be sails, lol. Ah the joys of disproportionate curves!

Oh thank goodness someone else feels my pain of being pear shaped..Seriously, If I actually wore my pants up to my waist, I would be like a size 2..thats how small my waist is...and since I wear them on my hips, I am a size 7 instead..I used to be like 100lbs in high school, those were the days

in a pile of open toed shoes!
Ok, I'm 1/2 a pear... need to wear a 12 to even get around the giant behind, hips and thighs that rub together....when I wear pantyhose, I'm afraid I might start a fire! And I have the small top, like arms and shoulders, but a D cup! So to get a swim suit I have to get a size 14 to fit the top, then take the straps up and back (my mom sews it), and a 12 on the bottom. Oh, the other thing that's annoying, I know low rise looks hot on super models and 12 year olds, but anyone that has a child or has a pouch of a tummy can't wear those low rise swim suits! I need one to actually go up to my belly button, and that doesnt' mean I want the sides cut up ti kingdom come either!

Maybe I should design swim suits.... in a perfect world!

Just so you know, I am size 1 and I think I am way too thin. I have tried to gain weight and can't, nothing has worked.

"No matter how bad you think you look, there is always someone out there who thinks the same & probably looks worse!" That's what my big sister says. Although, she always plays me as the one who looks worse...

Just about the only time I go swimming is when I take the dogs to the lake & then I don't care how bad I look, they are bound to wreck something & get me dirty anyways, or else when we go one vacation & then no one knows me, so I can look like poo anyways.

I went to buy a swim suit yesterday since we have a pool right downstairs. I went to Walmart and they sell tops and bottoms separate. I hate how the cute ones are all too small on top (like they are basically pasties with straps). How do they expect you to guess your top size by your pant size??? My solution? Sell bathing suit tops by bra size. Duh! Wouldn't that be easier?

So I buy my bikini and bring it home..... and put the top on upside down. (It's a string bikini top, regular bottom). So, you know how they have darts on the bottom of your cleaves? Imagine those on the top. It doesn't work well and it's not pretty, for one thing it's hard to make it stay flat on your skin (if you get what would happen when it doesn't). I was all ready to go at it with scissors and needle and thread and then I was just holding it up and realized- DUH it's upside down. And then I went to the pool. And I was outnumbered 12-1 by boys, and felt like I was on display so I came back inside.

aww
i didnt mean to offend anyone on here.

I more reffered to the girls who make them selves sick and not eat anything at all.

I dont know what size I am because we dont go by Size 1, 2,3,4 over here.
When i went shopping last week with my friend for bikinis i was so shy and upset about it, she helped me out and was telling me that i shouldnt give a poop about anyone else around me and that I Have to be confortable with my body.

Every woman is beautiful in their own way.
