Hey guys, I've never asked for prayers/vibes but would appreciate any you could spare
We just found out that Rob's dad was in a very severe car accident yesterday. He was just released from the hospital today.
He was stopped at a red light with another vehicle in front of him. A young woman, talking on her cellphone, didn't realize traffic was stopped (!) and smashed into his car. The car was going so fast it ended up being pinned under his car and he was pinned under the car in front of him. He was in his Jeep Cherokee and all 3 cars are totally damaged.
Rob's father is the best person I have ever met. He would give the shirt off his back in a second for you. I feel so sorry for him because he was just recovering from major pain in his shoulders(he's been going to therapy for the last year because of a rotator cuff injury that affected both arms from another accident). He just arrived home now and his whole body is in pain. We have no idea at this point what long term injuries he will have.
We were hit twice because of people talking on their cellphones in the past. I've had it up to here with cellphones in cars and people pretending they think they can multi-task while driving. The statistics show otherwise.
Can you send some healing vibes for my father-in-law? I'd greatly appreciate it. And please, if you're going to use your cellphone, use it before you get into the vehicle or pull to the side of the road. A life could depend on it.
