the mom cat may stop eating, visit her nesting place alot, pant, you might see purring and restless behavior before birth. you can also see contractions and she may yowel a bit.

Thank you....I have seen some of those signs but she doesn't seem to be having contractions yet though. So, maybe she is just getting ready.

My momma cats belly dropped the morning she gave birth. I didn't see any other signs. She had the kittens when we left the house to run errands. If you give her some space you may get a nice surprise. Sometimes they need a quite house and some privacy, others don't mind if the whole family watched

Well she is locked in my bedroom away from everone. I will go and check on her every so often. I need to run a few errands so maybe we will leave so it is totally quiet.

Well I am home and nothing yet. With my luck she will have them on the middle of my bed while I am sleeping in it.

I swear she is having small contractions. She looks like she is hickuping*sp* and when I picked her up and her tummy ws as hard as a rock. I put her down and then she layed down and it wasn't hard anymore. But, this is the first time I have seen it.

Still no babies. All the kids will be going to school here in a little while and it will be nice and quiet in the house. So, maybe that will prompt her to have them.
