Luckily it was a false alarm. But my girls Maggie May & Jazz a Boo hid under the bed. I was able to reach Jazz and pull her out, (she cried and hissed at me) then I got MM right after that. As I was going out the door with the carrier (in pj's and no money)! my neighbor told me she saw the bldg. super and he said it was a false alarm caused by a water leak. Anyway what I wanted to know is does anyone have an easier way to get the cats to cooperate and get out from under the bed? I tried opening a can of food but it didn't work. I'd like to get all of us out as quickly as possible. Btw Jazz was still in the closet when I left the poor thing, she is such a scaredy cat. Any advice/suggestions would be welcome. Thanks!

not sure if it would help with loud noised going off but my cats are trained to come when i shake the can of treats. it comes in handy when we have a tornado warning and we go into the basemnt.

My kitties freak out and dash under our bed, where it is impossible to reach them, when our building alarm goes off....
a huge worry.

If someone has a possible solution to this very dangerous behavior ...
I would love to hear it.
