Miss Feral Cat was def. having contractions tonight, not close together though maybe every 5 to 10 minutes, complete with hind foot scratching motions. She would get a glazed look, then her back and body would undulate.
My husband WAS working in the building as quietly as he could till 10pm so I am hoping she was just waiting for him to leave. I have the whole floor covered in faux astroturf and newspaper, so it's fairly clean and dry and warm. She hasn;t even looked twice at the nice kittening box ( what a shock). She did eat about half a can of wet food since 8pm so who knows, right?
Hopefully tomorow AM we will have some healthy kittens, in which case I will go to my job interview and then call out of work. Priorities- right?
