Remember that post about Kalie getting out of the house while she was in heat.....well Mya's mom says she can feel at least three lumps in her belly and she's beginning to get a little pudgy. If she got out around the beginning of May, she'll be due in early July. We don't know for sure, but its highly likely she is preggers.

Soka....I do hope that Kalie is being kept strictly indoors right now and it will be VERY important that she is kept strictly indoors only until her kittens are weaned and she can be spayed. There are lots of low cost spay/neuter clinics in Virginia for when the kittens are weaned. If she is an escape artist..then it would be best to start confining her to a room with at least 2 doors between herself and the great outdoors.

Yes, she is being kept indoors. I told Mya and her mother to take Kalie to a vet to make sure that she is truely pregnant, but Mya's mom is convinced that Kalie has kittens, and by this time, she's over two weeks. Kalie is about 8 months old, so she is young and a first time mother. I've told Mya to contact me in July, the moment Kalie goes into labor.

Well its definatly over two weeks. I think it might be about three weeks by now. On the 5th-ish of June, she should be around four weeks. Thats why I told them to take her to the vet just for a check to make sure, but I don't think they are going to take her. Mya's mom seems pretty convinced.

normally you can't feel the kittens till around 6-7 weeks. maybe around 5 weeks you can feel the lumps but you can't feel movement till 6-7 weeks. I would take her to the vets to be sure that is what it is and not something more serious. around 4 weeks the babies are the size of a walnut so not that big.

Well she's about a month into this now, since she got out around the first week of May. Mya's mom did say the lumps she feels are not very big and there is no movement yet, just the lumps. I took a look at her teets and they are very pink.

Kalie is definatly showing her pregnancy now. Her belly is huge compared to what it used to be. Mya and her mom are beginning to prepare for the arrival of kittens. They have gotten a cat carrier from storage and will keep her in it. They will be confining her to Mya's room for about a week. I was wondering when the best time to start confining her would be? She's got about 2 weeks to go. She got out the beginning of May, the first I think. So she should be due between the days of?
