I hope this is the correct forum...
Last year at my great-aunt's apartment we found an unusually large number of dead birds (14), just this week we have found 6 more (5 in one day)! The birds have no blood and no distressed feathers - like a cat might make if it had hunted it. We keep calling Animal Control and they just tell us to put it in a plastic bag and then another bag with ice in it. Sometimes they pick it up, sometimes the manager just tosses it.
Doesn't this sound unusual like someone is poisoning them?
Would an animal cruelty group be able to do anything about it? I know this sounds morbid, but I've been thinking about taking pictures of them (where they fall) and keeping track of times found and dates.
Should I call an animal cruelty line or let Animal Control do its work?
