My Bedroom....

I ordered a mosquito canopy about 2 weeks ago and just got around to putting it up. I hung a HUGE mirror in the corner of the bedroom, and put a pedestal in front of it with a lamp I had made at the flea market. It's a touch lamp with different panels we had put in it with indian designs. I'm going for an indian theme with dream catchers and different knick-knacks since my husband and I both have quite a bit of indian backgrounds. I'm thinking of putting candles on the pedestal instead of the lamp though.. Anyways, lemme know what you think!

Very cool looking! Candles would be pretty too, but with the net you'd have to be real careful it didn't start a fire...

I made sure that if I did decided to do the candles that I should hang the canopy far enough away from the pedestal so it's about 4 feet away. They would be more for decoration then anything. I would burn them except for special occasions

My husband says it makes him feel like he's at his own funeral when the canopy is down!

Very cool I think it would be cool with the candles(I am a candle freak) but with the lamps is kewl too.

I agree, I am a candle freak too. I think I have about 30 candles in my house

I love it! Very atomosperic. I like the candles better - but yeah, you've got safety concerns there!

Again, the candles are more for decoration then for use. They will be used on "special" ocassions only. they are in reality about 4 feet away from the net, even when it's pulled back

I think candles would be great but just scary ... Me and fire dont mix LOL I even use candle warmers
