We are a French couple who will live in London from August this year. We will look for a kitten male for September.

We would like some informations regarding your kittens :

- how old are they when you sell your kittens?
- what are the vaccinations (as we know those done in France)?
- what is the price for one kitten and how can we reserve one ?
- would it be possible to receive by mail some pictures of them?
- Are they microchipped?
- Where are you located in the United Kingdom? Is it far from London? Do you deliver your kittens?
-what colors?

Thanks a lot for your answer.

Regards,

Maud

Buy Cat World they have listings of different breeds of kittens in the back. Make sure you interview the breeders throughly and check the kittens out to make sure they look healthy.

The breeder that I got mine from is in Brighton which is relitively close to london and he is really great with the kittens they all seemed really well adjusted. Let me know and I will PM you the details.

Here's a link to the british shorthair cat club.

http://www.britishshorthaircatclub.c...ndex.home.html

British Shorthairs are one of the most popular breeds over here, especially in recent years due to being used in several advertising campaigns, so you need to be careful and make sure you buy from a reputable breeder (I'm sure there are lots of disreputable breeders out there jumping on the bandwagon).

Most breeders will not allow you to reserve a cat without seeing it (and them seeing you) so unless you can come over here before you move it would probably be a good idea to wait until you're settled in your new home before you look for a cat. There's no shotage of british shorthairs so you shouldn't have a problem finding a breeeder in or near London.

Any kitten you get should be a minimum of 13 weeks old and fully vaccinated. It's not normal for breeders to microchip or neuter kittens (early neutering is rare over here) - that's your responsibility and the breeder will want to be sure you will get your pet neutered (one of the reasons for wanting you to visit before you reserve a kitten).
